Discussion

Samsung Android 14 is no longer supported by Samsung and may contain security vulnerabilities. TE devices are the Samsung S23 (base), XCover6 Pro, and the Tab Active5. TE devices leverage COTS Samsung hardware leveraging a modified Samsung Android OS (custom ROM) that includes additional protocols and libraries/drivers for tactical radios and other mission systems, advanced network and VPN capabilities, support for multiple simultaneous ethernet connections (up to eight), night vision support, and other mission-specific capabilities.
